2) Will I get study materials?

a. Ask Peers: This section allows students enrolled for a course to clarify their doubts with peers. All the Ask Peers questions are sent to all the students enrolled for a course.

b. Ask An Expert: This section allows students enrolled for a course to clarify their doubts with our committee of expert members. Our expert panel consists of senior professors, IITians and top AIR holders in JEE.

c. Forums: All students, professors and IITians discuss in a forum open to all for viewing. Forums encourage sharing of ideas, thoughts, doubts, concepts, tips, and tricks. The forum will be moderated and strict discipline will be enforced on the content and language employed in the forum.

4) Can I chat with my peers?

This was a tough one for us. It was observed during our experiments that though chat allowed real time communication, it reduced the concentration levels of a serious aspirant. After a lot of debate, brainstorming and discussion we decided to prefer focus and discipline over communication.

5) Can I learn anytime?

That is the very purpose of existence of SmartLearn Web TV. Our online video classes are all pre-recorded and can be viewed 24X7.

6) Can I view the videos any number of times?

You can view each video only thrice. However if you are on the same page you can rewind and replay the video any number of times. But once you have understood a particular video lesson and decide to navigate to a new page it is counted as one view.

7) Why is this restriction on the number of times a video can be viewed?

This was another tough decision we had to make in the interest of the students. Our research and experiments proved that when videos were available for viewing any number of times, the focus of a student was lesser than the focus that a student had when he was aware that he could view the videos only thrice. Hence to enhance the concentration and focus while watching our classes, we allow a student to watch a video only thrice.
